Splendid Alfonsino (Beryx Splendens)

Our Splendid Alfonsino (Beryx splendens) are frozen at sea on our vessel M/V RAN. They are block frozen and packed in 3 x 6 kg cartons.

Beryx splendens is an alfonsino of the genus Beryx. It is commonly called Splendid Alfonsino.

It lives around the world at depths between 25 and 1,300 m. Their length is between 30 and 70 cm. The distribution of the fish is circumglobal, excluding the northeast Pacific and the Mediterranean Sea.
