Black Cardinalfish (Epigonus Telescopus)

Our Black Cardinalfish (Epiogonus telescopus) are frozen at sea on our vessel M/V RAN. They are both vertical frozen in blocks of 22 kg and horizontal frozen in blocks of 16 kg.

Epiogonus telescopus is a species of deep-water cardinalfish. It is commonly named “The Black Cardinalfish”.

It is found in most temperate oceans worldwide, at depths of between 75 and 1,200 m though mostly between 300 and 800 m. It can reach a length of 75 cm, though most specimens do not exceed 55 cm.
